How to add it to your site
- Pick your options above, then copy the embed code.
- Paste it into your site's HTML where you want the widget to appear.
- In WordPress, add a Custom HTML block and paste the code. In Shopify, use a Custom Liquid or Custom HTML section.
- The widget loads live prices and refreshes every 60 seconds. No API key or sign-up.
Troubleshooting
- Widget does not appear: make sure you pasted into an HTML or code block, not the visual editor, which can strip iframe tags.
- Widget looks cut off: increase the height value in the embed code to fit your layout.
- Prices show "Delayed": the feed retries on its own every 60 seconds and recovers without any action.
- Nothing loads behind a strict Content Security Policy: allow frames from meltvalue.com in your site's policy.
Common questions
Which coins does the widget show?
The silver set lists 90 percent dimes, quarters, half dollars, silver dollars, 40 percent halves, and war nickels. The gold set lists American Gold Eagles and pre-1933 US gold coins.
How are melt values calculated?
Each coin has a fixed precious metal weight. The widget multiplies that weight by the live spot price and refreshes every 60 seconds.
Can visitors switch between silver and gold?
You choose the set when you embed it. Pick silver or gold above and copy the matching code.
